Online Media Marketing Manager - Marketing
The Praetorian Group, the leading online media company in the public safety market, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented marketing manager to manage and execute on various company marketing initiatives. The position will encompass both online and offline marketing efforts designed to drive traffic and membership to our Web properties as well as improve branding and visibility in our markets. Responsibilities will include collateral development (including copywriting), trade show management and various forms of online marketing, including cost-per-click and social networking, member outreach and PR. Duties will also include working with our management team to develop a comprehensive marketing plan for our primary Web sites.
The Praetorian Group’s online properties are visited by more than a million and a half first responders and public safety professionals every month. Praetorian owns and operates www.PoliceOne.com, www.FireRescue1.com, www.EMS1.com and www.CorrectionsOne.com. Praetorian is growing at a rate of more than 25% per year and has recorded 17 straight quarters of profitability. Qualifications:
· At least 2-3 years marketing or public relations experience in a corporate environment
· Demonstrated experience managing corporate events and trade show presence
· Understanding of online marketing concepts and strategies, including CPC, social media and conversion rates
· Strong ability to perform analysis to identify and improve ROI of campaigns
· Experience in conducting and analyzing market research surveys and focus groups
· Experience managing strategic partnerships
· Strong writing skills and ability to generate quality marketing and ad copy
· Working knowledge of Photoshop, graphic design and basic HTML

· Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans for our primary Web sites
· Execute online marketing campaigns leveraging social media and keyword advertising
· Coordinate all trade shows the company attends
· Produce a series of member appreciation events
· Support company PR initiatives
· Manage print advertising campaigns for all sites
· Target and engage potential business development partners, including industry publications, associations and companies
· Manage existing company marketing partnerships
